There are several questions that are quite frequently asked of me by Grand Theft Auto fans. I have attempted to answer below:
| Is there a method of removing the timer from the GTA demo? |
Yup, see the downloads files!
| I get an error message that GTA cannot find \GTADATA\MISSION.INI. |
This because you have deleted or knackered it! It can be found on your GTA CD (somewhere), or can be downloaded in the form of the 'Secret Missions' file. Note that the 'Secret Missions' patch will only add certain things to the Demo version. It is not an illegal crack.

You're using the demo aren't you? You DON'T have those files, and need to buy GTA! It is now available in England for under twenty quid. Buy it now!
| Can I turn the police off permanently in GTA? |
Sure, in the GTA\GTADATA\MISSION.INI file change the fourth line from
100 1 1 1 1 0
to
100 1 1 1 0 0
| What weapons are there in GTA? |
There's the pistol - which kills people, the machine gun - which kills people, the rocket launcher - which kills people, and the flame-thrower - which kills people. Nice game, isn't it?
